Located off the southernmost shore of Nusa Penida is Manta Point where sightings of graceful rays, spotted stingrays and nurse sharks is almost guaranteed on every dive.
Dramatic limestone cliffs descend into the ocean and the marine life is vast with sea turtles, reef sharks and the oceanic sunfish. Large pelagics are also found in the area including nurse sharks, big tuna, tiger mackerel, lionfish, octopus, cuttlefish, clown triggerfish, pufferfish amongst many others. From the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Seminyak, Manta point is only a short 40 minutes ride across the water from the islands main port.
